Not very traditional northeastern chinese food. The food is very normal. It didn't make any impression on me. If you wanna try some real northeastern chinese food, just do some research and you will see there's one in plano.

We have been going here regularly for a couple of years. The food is great, although we always go with our Chinese friends who always know what to order. I highly recommend their lamb dishes. We moved to Dallas from Chicago and would compare this restaurant with Chicago's best Chinese.

As an Asian, I'm ashamed to say that I was craving sesame chicken on a Friday night, so we googled "chinese delivery" and came up with this place. Between the bf and myself, we ordered the sesame chicken, orange chicken, and fried ribs (meals came with egg rolls). The sesame chicken had little taste and was soggy (we ordered for delivery, so I didn't expect much.... but it was still a let down). Both entrees were $9 and TINY for that amount. I'm from Chicago, and the portions are much larger for the same price. I tried a bite of my bf's orange chicken, and I couldn't even tell it had orange in it. I could sense a common theme of flavor-fail. We also both got 2...TWO!!! broccoli florets. Really? lol. I had to nuke some frozen broc that we have in the freezer to make up for it. The ribs had a ton of meat on them (actual rib-sized!), but had NO flavor whatsoever. I couldn't eat the entire rib. It was like dog food. The only thing saving this place from 1 star is the egg roll. Nice and crispy. It's kind of astonishing to me that this place claims to be the "best chinese food in Dallas". I could name a few places right now that would rank way....way higher. Based on the food I had so far, I'd say it's a Panda Express with a bigger menu. But, perhaps I just ordered on an off-night or the wrong dishes. Shrug.

I am a traveler and having a place with good food and fast service is a plus. This place met all needs but the delivery took a little long. But food still arrived hot and tasty. Very friendly order taker and delivery person. If in Dallas again I will gladly order from them again.

It's sentimentally sad to see the area dying off and I can only imagine what it has done to there business. New China Grille has been here for years and is one of the few draws left to the Valley View Mall. New China Grille offers good Chinese food at a very good price. It's worth the visit and I hope they can get a revitalization or move to a new location if the mall goes under completely.

My wife and I been looking for location Chinese Restaurant/Take-out that's both affordable and delicious. And, I think we're found it. The food was great, the service quick and the price was very reasonable. We'll add it to our favorite list.

Average Chinese food and good prices make this a good bet for people who live in the neighborhood and don't want to drive to Taiwan, Jasmine, May Dragon, or Cafe Panda. Or for those who want a much less expensive meal. Well stocked buffet. ...?

Please note I'm not referring to the buffet. This restaurant started serving Northeastern Chinese cuisine Feb, 2009. It is very genuine. The prices are low, the food is very delicious and generously served. So don't order too many if your stomach isn't big enough. Highly recommended!?

All you guys with great reviews about this terrible restaurant are so wrong. Please try some real tasty, fresh, quality & economical buffet like Golden Moon chinese restaurant in Frisco Texas or Great wall buffet Plano. The food was stale, tasteless & there were not even 40 items incl desserts & salads as they claimed on their website. Save your money!! Don't go there... And the waiters ask for their tip to your face.?

Been eating there since it opened and the taste has improved by leaps and bounds. For 6 bucks and 100+ dishes it's already a good deal, but recently I noticed that they've added some v. delicious authentic Chinese food. I think the owner told me they got a new chef. Now I try to go there whenever I can, which is nice since it's in a convenient location for me.?
